PCI hails JK Govt, DIPR for outstanding arrangements during Council's Srinagar visit | KNO

The Press Council of India (PCI) has lauded the Government of Jammu and Kashmir for the outstanding arrangements made during the recent visit of the PCI Chairman and Members to the State. "I would like to thank the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for all the cooperation and hospitalities extended to the team of Press Council of India during its visit to Srinagar from 8 October 2017 to 10 October 2017," Secretary PCI, Ms Vibha Bhargava said in a communication addressed to the Chief Secretary, B B Vyas. She said the meetings of the Council and the interaction with the Chief Minister, the Ministers and the media fraternity was conducted smoothly and efficiently due to the special efforts of the Director Information, Muneer-ul-Islam and his entire team of officers/officials. "We highly appreciate the commendable efforts put in by the Department of Information & Public Relations, J&K Govt during our visit," she added.
