‘Kashmiris do not accept subjugation’

United Jihad Council (UJC) chairman Syed Salahuddin has appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to observe October 27 as “Black” day. Addressing a UJC meeting, he said, “India has violated all rights of people Kashmir and the people have not accepted illegal occupation of India.” “On October 27, 1947 Indian troops entered Kashmir and it was blackest day in the history of Kashmir. Kashmiris do not accept subjugation and were continuing to raise their voice against it.” He said on October 27 people should protest and should carry black flags to convey it to the international community that people of Kashmir do not accept India. While lauding the role of people of Kashmir, Salahuddin said, people will see the dawn of freedom.
