Orientation cum Community Mobilization programme on SBM held in Bhaderwah | KNO

One day Community Mobilization Programme under Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM) was organized by Block Development Officer Bhaderwah in colloboration with Zonal Education Office for the awareness of general public regarding different components of SBM for achieving 100% literacy in the block.Block Development Officer Bhaderwah Dr Mohd Ashraf was chief guest on the occasion whereas Zonal Education Officer, Sundar Singh , District Nodal Officer SBM , Kailash K Chander , In charge section SBM Doda Rashid Yaseen Butt , teacher Arif Rana , Rashid Naik and others were also present on this occasion.The BDO Bhaderwah appreciated the efforts of the Saakshar Bharat Mission in the field of education which is crucial for development of a society.On the occasion, learners were awarded for best performance in the examination held recently.A huge gathering comprising learners under Adult Education Programme participated in the function.The speakers highlighted the activities and objective of Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM) and it was informed that Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM) is making every effort to reduce the percentage of illiteracy. Besides, the adult education programme is being run in all Panchayat Halqas of Bhaderwah and Bhalla by 100 Preraks and under the programme 11500 people have been covered so far under the literacy programme in 2 blocks of the sub district Bhaderwah .
