Municipal Committee intensified area wise/ward wise thermal fogging drive in Bhaderwah in which thermal fogging was conducted in and around university campus Link road,upper Vasak Dera,Gaggal,Iqbal colony and adjoining areas in order to contain various insects and insect borne diseases.The thermal fogging was not only conducted in residential areas and in religious places but also in seasonal rivers ,bushy areas and in those areas which can also become a source of breeding house for insect borne diseases.The entire drive was conducted under the overall supervision of Mohd Ashraf zarger Executive Officer MC Bhaderwah and along with the thermal fogging drive mass awareness was also conducted by trained Sanitary Inspectors led by Sukesh Sharma and assist by Sajid Malik among the residents regarding the preventive measures for Communicable diseases like keep your in and around neat and clean, wash your hands with soap before eating ,use filter or boiled water then wait for its cooling for drinking,always inspect your food before eating,never through refuse directly in the streets,use separate dust bins in your homes for biodegradable and non biodegradable and waste for further collection by Safai karamcharis,Construct scientific Septic tanks and shun throwing contents of your latrine(excreta) in the drain which is not only causing foul smell but is a cause of many diseases . The drive is also launched to bring down the vector density of adult mosquitoes and to reduce impending danger of spread of mosquito born diseases.The general public especially the old age and those allergic to smoke / asthmatics are requested to remain indoor during thermal fogging.
