Prohibitory restrictions around examination centres | KNO

District Magistrate Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik has issued prohibitory restrictions under Sec 144 of Cr.PC around a radius of 200 metres around the examination centres. These restrictions have been imposed in light of commencement of Secondary and Higher Secondary School examinations w. e. f 1st of November, 2017 . The SSP Anantnag and Kulgam were directed to ensure the directions in letter and spirit and to deploy adequate personals around the examination centers during examination days. Meanwhile, all the Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars have been designated as magistrates in their respective areas of jurisdictions.
