A ‘run for unity’ was organised by Municipal Committee Bhaderwah on the direction of Director Urban local Bodies Jammu to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as ‘Iron Man of India’, on Tuesday .Executive Officer Mohd Ashraf Zargar led the rally from the Municipal Office to the Sari Bazaar and back. Officials, staff from various wings of Municipal Committee participated in the run.Speaking on the occasion, speakers Mohd Hussain , Arshad Kagazgar ,Randhir Singh , Mohd Sajid , Wasim Ganai ,Sunil Kumar , Mukhtyar Ahmed Qureshi , Mehraj ,Educationist Kailash K Chander ,Naseer Mehboob , said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister of India, was credited with the unification of India.It is worthwhile to mention here that around 50 sweepers also participated in 'Run for Unity' marathon .
