Div Com reviews Makhdoom Saheb Urs arrangements | KNO

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Khan today reviewed the arrangements made for the smooth conduct of annual Urs of Hazrat Sultan-ul-Arifeen Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom (RA). The meeting was informed that all the arrangements have been put in place for the Urs that will start from November 01. The meeting was attended by DC Srinagar, CE PDD, representatives of Makhdoom Saheb Shrine and concerned officials of other Departments. It was revealed that PDD in addition to supplying power through a dedicated feeder has also put in place a DG set for meeting any blackout. Div Com also directed the Health Department to start free medical camps for seven days at the shrines at Koh e Maran, Tujjar Shareef and Aham-e-Sharief at Bandipora. Dedicated passenger buses, adequate ration, water tankers, special personnel for ensuring 24X7 sanitation has also been put in place at all the three shrines, Div Com said.
