JAMMU & KASHMIR ADC Srinagar imposes Rs 55,000 fine on Food Business Operators | KNO Published 338 weeks ago on November 01, 2017 By KashmirNewsObserver The court of Adjudicating Officer (Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar) imposed a fine of Rs 55,000 on five Food Business Operators for selling/processing food items in unsanitary conditions. These include three restaurant owners and a milk vendor. Meanwhile, the Food Safety wing of Drugs and Food Control organization presented 117 more cases before the competent court for adjudication. Additional Deputy Commissioner Food Safety has warned the Chicken sellers, Bakers, Meat sellers to maintain high standards of hygiene otherwise action under relevant provisions of Food Safety & Standards Act shall be initiated against them.
