Meet with media persons held in Ganderbal

In its efforts to reach out the retired police personnel, a meeting was organized at District Police Lines Sopore, today which was chaired by SSP Sopore Shri Harmeet Singh Metha. The meeting was attended by almost all the retired police personnel of Sopore. During the meeting, SSP Sopore heard the participants patiently and assured them that their genuine issues will be taken with higher authorities for early redressal. While speaking on the occasion, SSP Sopore sought cooperation from the participants in helping the in-service officers and officials to enhance their investigating skills. The participants assured the SSP that they would offer their service to the department as and when required. Among others who attended the meeting included SDPO Sopore Shri Mashkoor Zargar, SDPO Rafiabad Dr. Idress, DySP DAR Shri Ghulam Mohi-ud-din, SHO’s of the PD Sopore and other officers & officials. At the end of the meeting, lunch was served to the participants. Meanwhile, a meeting was held with media fraternity by Ganderbal police which was chaired by DySP Ganderbal Shri Aakash Kohli. During the meeting interaction as well as discussion with respect to harmonious cooperation between police and civil society. The media fraternity was invited to interact and discuss with respect to harmonious cooperation between police force and the civil society.
