DSEK reviews implementation of Kashmiri language in Schools | KNO

Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G. N. Itoo today convened a meeting regarding implementation of Kashmiri Language in Schools in Kashmir Division. Secretary Academy of Art Culture and Languages, Dr. Aziz Hajni, Director Academics J&K BOSE, Dr Farooq Ahmad Peer, President Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Dr. Shujaat Bukhari, General Secretary AMK, Mohammad Amin Bhat, Chief Education Officers, DIET Principals and other concerned were present in the meeting. On the occasion, the Director School Education impressed upon the Chief Education Officers and DIET Principals to implement the Government order regarding introducing Kashmiri languages in schools. He advised Board authorities to prepare and keep ready the books with good printing in time so that the languages are taught from the new academic session. Directions were given to Chief Educations Officers and DIET Principals to make necessary arrangements to teach the Kashmiri Language from the next academic session. Similar directions were also issued in respect of other languages which are to be taught as per the government order. He also asked Principal SIE Kashmir to organize and expedite training programmes to train resource persons immediately who shall, in turn, provide training to teachers in their respective districts. The BOSE authorities and Principal SIE assured the Director of their full cooperation. Secretary Dr Hajini and President AMK Dr. Shujaat Bukhari also assured their full support in the teaching of Kashmiri Language and implementation of the Government order regarding the same.
