JAMMU & KASHMIR DC Srinagar participates in Guru Purab celebrations at Chatti Padshahi | KNO Published 337 weeks ago on November 05, 2017 By KashmirNewsObserver Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Saturday visited Chatti Padshahi at Rainawari here to participate in Guru Purab celebrations marking the birth anniversary of the first Sikh guru Guru Nanak Dev. Dr. Shah extended greetings to the Sikh community of the district while he took stock of arrangements put in place by the district administration for smooth celebrations at the Gurdwara, which sees the largest gathering of Sikh devotees on the occasion in the district. The DC reiterated his instructions to concerned authorities for ensuring convenience of all required facilities for the occasion. On the Occasion, members of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Srinagar as well devotees thanked the DC for his keen interest in ensuring the Guru Purab celebrations are observed with full fervour.
