Intense clashes erupt in Anantnag | KNO

Intense Clashes began in Brakpora area of this south Kashmir district on Monday afternoon after youth hurled stones on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Vehicles. “The CRPF Vehicles were stoned when a convoy of vehicles waspassing through the area.The CRPF men came down from their vehicles and fired tear smoke shells to disperse the stone pelters,” Locals said. The CRPF resorted to heavy shelling to disperse the youth, but the youth regrouped and continued hurling stones on the forces, sources said. The Clashes were going when this report was filed.
