To listen the Greviances of the people of his Constituency State General Secretary and MLA Bandipora Usman Majid here on Sunday took an Extensive tour of Bandipora Constituency. Majid visited Several areas including Benlipora, KehnoosaGhat arin, Balhama, madar and larahwalpora area of his constituency.
Majid Claimed that Almost 250 workers of Pdp and National conference of the Benlipora & Aloosa Ghat area formally joined the Congress party. Describing the newly entrants joining Congress as returning home, newly entrant’s workers reposed faith in the policy, programme of Congress the vision and ability of its leadership. They said Congress stands for unity, brotherhood and amity of the three regions of the State and various sections of the society.
Welcoming the new entrants into party Usman Majid expressed hope that newly joined workers would work with enthusiasm and energy to give fillip and will spread the policy programme of the Congress. Usman asked them to strengthen the party and work for the betterment of the area.
They said the visionary leadership of dynamic leader Usman Majid has given new dimension to the policy of Congress to achieve the goal and political stability and prosperity in the region. They praised the contribution of Usman Majid in the socio-economic transformation of the Erstwhile in particular and State in general, saying the party has been pioneer in implementing revolutionary programmes aimed at improving the conditions of the people, especially those living in remote and backward areas.
Later on Mla Bandipora Usman Majid also release funds under CDF for installion of Transformer at Molvi mohalla Benlipora.
While talking Majid said that these areas have been facing power crisis from the past several years and they also face long hours of power cuts so for fulfilling demands of the locals of the area such steps have been taken in order to eradicate the crisis of power from these areas.
During the tour People from several areas called on MLA and apprised him about their problems being faced by them. MLA gave patient hearing to the issues raised by the people. MLA later gave instructions to the officers to redress them at the Earliest. MLA assured the people that their pending demands will be fulfilled in time frame manner.
