Waqf Board VC resigns | KNO

Pir Mohammad Hussain, vice chairman JK Waqf Board has resigned citing personal reasons. Sources told that Hussain has sent his resignation to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti who is the chairperson of the Board. Hussain has asked her to relieve him of his responsibility. “Reasons will be conveyed to Chief Minister in due course,” a source quoted Hussain. He had addressed a press conference only yesterday listing his achievements as VC. Hussain had been appointed as VC of the Board in 2015.
