NC workers hold meet in Bhaderwah | KNO

National Conference (NC) workers held a meeting at Dak Bunglow , Bhaderwah here today under the chairmanship of its provincial secretary Sheikh Mohd Shafi . During the meeting, the workers of 30 villages raised various issues including dilapidated condition of roads, unscedule power cuts , water shortage problem, black topping of roads , old age pension, construction of cremation ground, no work under MGNREGA , unemployment , corruption and discrimination with Bhaderwah and Bhalla on all fronts , etc.While speaking, NC Provincial secretary Sheikh Mohd Shafi assured the participants that their demands will be redressed at the earliest and he will submit memorandum to Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah in this connection .Sheikh also hailed the state government decision for additional district status to Bhaderwah and further added that the developmental system and the policies and programmes, which are people friendly should be initiated by the Government for the benefit of the people especially residing in far flung areas but government is failed on all fronts . He said on ground there is no government and discrimination with rural areas of Bhaderwah is still continue and said Bhaderwah deserve full fledged district keeping in view its merit .He also threatened to government to solve all burning issues related to Bhaderwah people otherwise people will start agitation and whole responsibility will be on the shoulders of govt . “I will try my best to improve the life style of rural people so that they come out of poverty”, he asserted.
