DSEK teams inspect examination centres across Kashmir | KNO

Special inspection teams of School Education Department today paid surprise visits to different examination centres in all Districts of Kashmir Valley to ensure smooth conduct of Annual Board Examinations. The Teams headed by Senior Officers of the Department have been directed by the Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G. N. Itoo to ensure hassle-free and fair examination of 10th and 12th classes. The Director School Education also said that students should not face any difficulty while appearing in the examinations. The teams shall ensure that students do not face any kind of problems or harassment which makes examination environment tense. The special teams inspected various examination centres in Ananatnag, Bandipora, Budgam, Baramulla Ganderbal, Kupwara, Kulgam, Pulwama, Srinagar, and Shopian districts, In some canters, candidates raised some issues which were addressed on the spot by the Officers of the Department. Meanwhile, Director School Education Kashmir has expressed satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the examination. He said that examinations are being conducted in a free and fair manner with no complaints or problems being reported from any part of the valley. He further directed all Chief Education Officers to start provisional classes immediately after the conclusion of examinations. The Director School Education also chaired a meeting of Specially Abled employees in his office chamber. He assured the employees that their problems shall be looked into on priority and solutions shall be expedited. He also said that Department would take steps to address the issues of education department employees as well.
