Kashmir video journalists association held it's general body elections in Srinagar today to ensure free and fair process.
Mr Bashir Lone of New Delhi based Television news channel (CNN News 18) was elected as president of the Kashmir Video Journalist Association (KVJA), Fayaz Ahmed Latha of ANI network was elected as vice president and Jehangir Aziz of ETV News was elected as General Secretary.
After his victory Mr Bashir lone (President) assured his members that he will take up the issues related to the Video Journalists at proper forum and ensure that they are resolved at the earliest.
He said that the media persons are facing lot of hardships in covering events in conflict zone of Kashmir and they need stand united to face such challenges, the members assured there complete support to the new office bearers.
KVJA thanked Mr shujaat Bukhari, Mr Farooq Javed khan, Mr Ishfaq ul Hassan and Mr Shuja ul haq for sparing their time to free and fair Conduct of elections.
