Sp Secretary MHA convenes meet to discuss issues of border residents | KNO

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 11 (KNO): Special Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs (Internal Security ) Rina Mitra who is on a visit to the state to assess the issues of border residents today convened a high level meeting to discuss the vital issues with the concerned officers. She held a detailed discussion on the issues projected by the border residents during the visit of team to the border areas of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch. Ms. Mitra sought suggestions from the concerned officer of civil administration, army, BSF and CRPF regarding the steps that can be initiated for redressing the issues of the people providing them relief. Joint Secretary Internal Security, Gyanesh Kumar and Director MHA, R K Swarankar, Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department, R. K. Goyal, Divisional Commissioner Dr. M.K Bhandari IGP Dr. S. D. Singh Jamwal, GOC, 26 Inf Div C/O 56 APO, IGP CRPF, IGP BSF, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, ADC Samba, were present in the meeting (KNO)
