BJP Working Committee meet held at Doda, 'Resolution passed' | KNO

DODA, NOV 12 (KNO) : BJP District Working Committee for Doda today held its meeting at Community Hall here which was Presided over by the District President, Advocate Manjeet Razdan, the meeting was attended all Mandal Pradhans, President Kissan Morcha, Muslim Morcha and Youth President besides a number of leaders and activists. MLA Doda , Shakti Raj Parihar was the Chief Guest on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, MLA Doda urged field functionaries to work in unison to carry forward the developmental agenda of the Prime Minister to all corners of the district. He stressed for maintaining live rapport with masses and be proactive in redressing their grievances. “BJP is a cadre based party and it is the responsibility of the Mandal Pradhans and other grass root leaders to espouse cause of the people without discrimination of caste and creed,” Parihar said adding that present coalition Government has taken up development of all areas in a big way. The road network is being upgraded for smooth plying of traffic in hilly areas. The work on bigger developmental projects has been accelerated, so that they are completed within fixed time frames, he added.Advocate Manjeet Razdan, in his presidential address, called upon the participants to strengthen the party by projecting the developmental needs of people living in far flung areas. He said that development is the core agenda of BJP. “BJP stands for a corruption free system in the state to ensure that benefits of development percolate down to the last man in the line,” he added. Vipin Sharma, Prabhari for Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban laid stress on organizational structure and also informed about future programmes of party.A resolution was also passed on the occasion .Prominent among others present during the meeting included Krishan Lal, Rana Onkar Singh, Munshi Ram, Raj Sigh Charak, Manjeet Bhagat, Bacchan Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Rajinder Singh and Manish Thakur.District General Secretary, Swami Raj Sharma conducted proceedings of the meeting and presented formal vote of thanks.(KNO)
