Pays rich to Former Prime Minister of his birth anniversary

Srinagar Nov 13 (KNO) : Paying rich tributes to Former Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on his 128th Birth Anniversary today, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir described the departed leader as an architect of Modern India under whose leadership the Nation made remarkable achievements in every field, as a result India is one of the Super Power of the world. Recalling the selfless services and contributions of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru in Nation Building, G.A. Mir while paying rich tributes to Former Prime Minister said that every section of the country will continue to remain indebted to Pt Ji for the services and sacrifices made by him for the Nation. Right from the Freedom Movement to Prime Minister’s Chair, Pt ji remained committed to safeguard the dignity and honour of the Nation and never compromised on his stated position of uniting and serving the people to the best of his ability, Mir said. It was the dream of Pt. Ji to make the country self-reliant and progressing in every field for which Pt. Ji launched Prime Minister’s five year reconstruction plan, which proved as a turning point in the overall development of the Nation. Pt ji never compromised on the safety and security of the Nation, besides he remained committed to the overall development of the country from grass roots level, as a result, the India is one of the super powers of the present world. The first Prime Minister of the Country remained committed to safeguard the secular fabric of the country and never allowed any force to harm the secular image of India. There were certain groups like RSS, Bajrang Dal and VHP, which were against Pt. Ji for being secular, but Pt. Ji never bowed, rather he fought and defeated the Communal forces damaging the Secular Identity of the Nation, he was the man who ensured that every section was treated equally thereby ensuring development of people from grass roots level irrespective of their caste, creed or Colour, G.A. Mir said. On this occasion, G.A. Mir lashed out at BJP RSS which are responsible for the uncertainty and fear in the country saying that the Secular India of Pt. Jawahar Nehru is in danger under BJP Rule and cautioned the people of nefarious designs of BJP RSS hell bent upon to divide communities for electoral gains, but at the sametime, G.A.Mir felt confident that people in the entire country have realized that Secular Fabric of the country is being damaged by BJP for personal benefit, he added. He said Congress has the legacy of serving and uniting people and it will continue to fight against the forces harming secular image and dividing people for power, Mir said.(KNO)
