Another, Encounter Starts In Kulgam’s Kund village | KNO

A gunfight broke out between militants & forces at Kund Qazigund area of Kulgam district in southern part of Kashmir. Reports said that 9RR of Indian army and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off Nowbug Kund, area of Kulgam after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

 

 

The said as the searches were intensified, the hiding militants fired upon the forces triggering an encounter. Operation was going on when the last reports were filed. Meanwhile, a gunfight has also started in forest area of Lam village in Tral township of pulwama district, sources said. They said that Army’s 42 RR today in wee hours started searching in the forest area, and as the searches were intensified, the hiding militants fired at them, triggering an encounter. Heavy firing was going on when the last reports came in.
