Tassaduq directs opening of Grievance Cell offices in Jammu, Srinagar | KNO

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 14 (KNO) : In a concerted effort to create a responsive and citizen-friendly administration, ensure speedy redressal of grievances, accountability of officials and to initiate critical citizen-focused interventions, Coordinator Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell, Tassaduq Mufti has directed for the opening of Grievance Cell Offices in both the divisions of Jammu and Kashmir. The Coordinator said that the number of grievances manifold increases in Jammu during the summer season and in Kashmir during winters thus it becomes imperative to operate offices at both the places in order to reduce the gulf between the people and administration. Tassaduq Mufti said that aim of the Cell is to strive for excellence and make administration accountable, responsive, transparent, efficient and resourceful. He said the general public can approach the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell through toll-free numbers, on office addresses along with social media platforms making registering complaints with the Cell hassle-free, convenient and easy.
