Politics of hate and polarisation promoted in India : Mirwaiz | KNO

Expressing deep sorrow and grief at the death and trail of destruction left behind by the deadly on Iran Iraq border APHC chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that entire Kashmiri nation is deeply grieved at this tragedy. Expressing sympathy with the injured Mirwaiz prayed for their speedy recovery. Mirwaiz strongly condemned the lynching of an innocent muslim Umar Khan in Alwar in Rajasthan at the hands of fanatics. Mirwaiz said that the politics of hate and polarization is being deliberately promoted and promulgated for electoral dividends and Muslims across India made its target in a well-planned manner.Mirwaiz urged the world human rights organisations to take strong note of this carnage of Muslim under the garb of cow protection and said that Indian leadership is duty bound to ensure the safety and security of Indian Muslims across the country. Meanwhile, APHC spokesman paid rich tributes to two slain militants killed in an encounter at Handwara—Ashiq Hussain Bhat of Palhallan and Toib Majeed of Brath Kalan, Sopore stating that due to the rigid and brutal approach of New Delhi, Kashmiri youth are turning in large numbers from a peaceful means of struggle to armed resistance and getting killed which is very sad and painful. The spokesman also condemned the wave of CASO in South and North Kashmir villages terming it deliberate attempt by forces to instill fear among the local populace. He said during the CASOs, local population is being harassed and property vandalized, which is highly condemnable. Meanwhile, senior APHC leader Mukhtar Ahmed Waza while continuing his public outreach, in Islamabad and condemned the worst form of atrocities inflicted on the local population there. Waza also sent to the homes of martyrs and expressed solidarity with the families of martyrs. He also condemned the arrests of youth made by police during the past few weeks.(KNO)
