Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Wednesday said that the puppet CM, Mehbooba Mufti, will soon come to realize that it is she and the people of her ilk who come have and will continue to come with a begging bowl for votes to the people of Kashmir. In a statement, DeM general secretary, Nahida Nasreen, said that ironically the people who are fighting for this pious cause are being termed as “beggers.” “In the lust of power, this woman doesn’t even realise what she is saying. She is making rubbish and meaningless statements regarding the people of Kashmir,” she added. Nasreen said that the proud people of Kashmir give the sacrifice of 2-3 children on the daily basis for this pious cause.

Calling the people of Kashmir ‘beggars’ is not only unfortunate but shameless rant by a woman who has collaborated with the occupiers to stay in power,” she added. “This woman would soon realise that it is people like her who have been and will continue to beg for votes in front of the people here. The only beggars in Kashmir are these pro-India politicians who come to people begging so that they can attain power,” she added. She said that on the other hand people of Kashmir who are martyred or jailed for supporting this movement are the heroes and legacy of this nation. Mehbooba Mufti had recently stated that Kashmiri people beat their chests for months and then settle down again demanding waivers and incentives for the losses. “We as a people have to ponder what we are doing. First, we protest then we come with a bowl asking for money,” she said Nasreen further paid glowing tributes to the Mujahideen, Toib Majeed of Sopore and Ashiq Hussain of Palhalan, who were martyred on November 13 in Zachaldara area of Handwara and to Mujahid, Muzamil of Yaripora, who achieved martyrdom in Kulgam on Tuesday. She said that the blood of these great martyrs will never go waste. InshaAllah, the dawn of freedom from the illegal Indian occupation is very near. Freedom is our destiny, we may face difficulties in reaching there but one day we will reach our destiny,” she added. Nasreen said that on one hand the occupational forces martyr Kashmiri youth and on the other, cage the whole population. “Communication is blocked, movement of people is restricted but thousands of people still come out of their homes and participate in the funeral processions of our martyrs and pay lovable homage to these martyrs,” she added. Nasreen further said that one Mujahid, Shamsul Viqar, has been arrested by the occupational forces near a railway station in south Kashmir. “These occupational forces are responsible for whatever happens to Shamsul. Eyewitnesses said that on Tuesday, when Muzamil was caught by these forces he was injured but alive. These forces brutally beat him up and probably were responsible for killing him after arresting him alive

These forces also desecrated his body ,” she added. She said that all these brutal tactics are adopted by the forces to continue its illegal occupation in Jammu and Kashmir. “ But our young boys continue to give their blood and sacrifices their lives and soon these sacrifices will bring us the blessing of Islam and of freedom,” she added (KNO)
