Srinagar 17th Nov 2017 (KNO) Kashmir and Kashmiris owe so much of their religious, social and economic lives to Shah-I-Hamadan Mir Syed Ali Hamadani and his successors. Khankah-I-Mo’alla is a symbol of our glorious past and prideful heritage and any harm to this structure is bound to break our hearts. So-called Indian democracy has used every dictatorial means to suppress Kashmiri voices. This was stated by the chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik while addressing a gathering at historical Khankah-I-Mo’alla Srinagar today. To offer Friday prayers at historic Khankah, JKLF chairman along with a high level delegation today offered Friday prayers at Khakah-I-Mo’alla, a portion of which got damaged in a fire accident recently. In his address to the people present, JKLF chairman said that this Khankah is of paramount importance for every Kashmiri as it belongs to a great saint Shah-I-Hamadan (RaH) who not only revolutionized our religious lives but also transformed our economy by exposing us to various new trades and means. He said that Khankah-I-Mo’alla for us is a symbol of sacredness, spirituality and socio-political life and any harm or damage to it is bound to pierce our hearts and sadden us. Thanking Allah for saving this sacred place from devastating fire, JKLF chairman said that we all must thank our lord for granting us faith and steadfastness and saving these places of reverence for us. Terming so-called Indian democracy as a worst form of dictatorship as far Jammu Kashmir is concerned; JKLF chairman said that this so-called biggest democracy believes in suppressing people’s voices by jailing, torturing and oppressing them. He said that thousands of young and old are languishing in jails and other incarceration centers and their lives have been turned into worst hell. Terming the slapping of yet another PSA on Masrat Aalam Bhat and shifting him back to Kotbalwal Jail as glaring act of dictatorship in the garb of so-called democracy, JKLF chairman said that how can Indian leaders and their Kashmiri stooges call themselves democrats when they are shamelessly using black laws like PSA to cage down their political antagonists. He said on daily basis young boys and other people are being sent to jails under PSA which can only be termed as worst despotism. Terming the Charge-sheeting of APHC leader Shabir Ahmad Shah under false charges and prolonging his incarceration by mean tactics, as worst acts of intimidation, JKLF chairman said that India is using NIA and ED to terrorize Kashmiris. They want to put us into submission by terrorizing, arresting, jailing, maligning and oppressing us but we want to tell them that Kashmiris will never bow down before their oppression and tyranny and will continue with their struggle and resistance at every cost (KNO)
