Class 8 results to be declared on Nov 21 | KNO

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 20 (KNO) : Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) today said that results of annual Class 8 exams in Kashmir Division shall be announced on November 21, 2017. “This year around 86391 students appeared in the Class 8 examinations across the valley in which 42743 were boys and 43648 girl students,” a statement of the DESK said. Meanwhile, a meeting was held at the Directorate to take stock of the preparations of CM’s free Super -50 coaching programme which is scheduled to start from December 2, 2017. The online registration for the programme shall continue up to November 22 and the test shall be conducted by November 25, 2017. Around 1000 students, 50 for Medical (PCB) and 50 students for Engineering (PCM) shall be enrolled in each district with a total number of 1000 students besides 100 students shall be enrolled at the provincial level. The program is being conducted in collaboration with reputed organizations like Avanti Learning Centre Mumbai and Chinar International. Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G. N. Itoo has appealed students, parents and civil society members to make this free coaching programme a success (KNO)
