The Senior Vice President, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nasir Hamid Khan had an urgent meeting with the Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Labour & Employment Dr Haseeb Drabu in the Civil Secretariat, Jammu regarding the implementation of the SRO-472 dated 16th of November, 2017 by the Labour & Employment Department, which seeks the closure of shops and establishments on various days of the week.
In this regard, the viewpoint of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry was brought to the attention of the Hon’ble Minister. After deliberations on the same, Dr Drabu assured the Kashmir Chamber that their viewpoint would be given a positive and appropriate response by the State Government and all stakeholders would be taken on board while formulating any policy matter. The Hon’ble Finance Minister also said that the Government would reasonable consider the request of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry about keeping the operation of SRO-472 in abeyance for the time being (KNO)
