KISHTWAR, NOV 22 (KNO) : Kishtwar Police raided a medical shop in the town and recovered a huge quantity of drugs from the shop. Police has recommended cancellation of his licence of the Pharmaceutical Shop.According to reports ,on a specific information developed by police, party led by SHO Police Station Kishtwar Inspector Sameer Jillani under the supervision of Dy. SP Headquarter Kishtwar Nihar Ranjan on the instruction of the District Superintendent of Police, Abrar Chowdhary conducted a raid at Vijay Medicos at Kuleed Chowk and recovered 630 tablets of Spasonil, Topspos, Intagics-M & Tramacon-P. All these tablets were sedative in nature and the owner of shop use to sell these to the youth and students for addiction.The owner of the shop has been identified as Vijay Kumar resident of Thakraie at present Kuleed. The police has registered case FIR No. 241/2017 u/s 48(a) Excise Act in police station Kishtwar against the shop owner. The police authorities have taken up the issue with the drug controller Jammu and has recommended the cancellation of the pharmaceutical licence of the shop. As per police sources, the Kishtwar police is all out against the drug peddlers and shall not spare anyone in this regard (KNO)
