Police public meetings held in Anantnag, Handwara | KNO

Srinagar, November 25 (KNO) : To strengthen the relation between Police and Public, Jammu and Kashmir Police organized police public meetings at Police Division Sangam which was chaired by DO Sangam Shri Mohammad Shamim under the supervision of SDPO Bijbehara Shri Rashid Akbar and at Police Post Chogul, Handwara, which was chaired by DO Chogul Shri Mohammad Sadiq under the supervision of SSP Handwara Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani. A large number of respectable citizens including members of Auqaf Committees of villages Pujitang, Sethar, Halmula, Marhama, Sangam and Officers /Officials from other departments participated in the meeting at Sangam and at Chogul a good number of people participated. During these meetings, various public issues and problems raised by the participants were discussed. The chairing officers heard patiently their problems and assured the participants that the issues pertaining to police will be redressed within shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with civil administration for immediate redressal.
