Nov 26 (KNO) : Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on the 9th anniversary of the deadly 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks sent out a stern warning to the insurgents in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a rally in poll-bound Gujarat’s Surat, Jaitley stated that whoever becomes the Lashkar commander will not last very long. “Their condition is such that whoever becomes the Lashkar commander does not live for many days,” Jaitley said. He also lashed out at Pakistan for releasing 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed two days before India marked the anniversary of the horrific attacks. "Hafiz Saeed was released by Pakistan just two days before the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attack. In such cases, the other countries will stand in unison to oppose a country that backs terrorism. They will find no place in the global family," he said. He added that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir has improved after a cash squeeze that was brought about due to the rollout of the demonetisation drive on November 8 last year. (KNO)
