Missing mother, child reunited with family by Anantnag police | KNO

Srinagar, November 27 (KNO) : Anantnag police traced a missing lady along with her child within three hours after the report was filed. Police Station Ashmuqam received a report from one person namely Manzoor Ahmad Ganie resident of Shoul Botengo in which he stated that he along with his wife (name withheld) and 8 months old child went to Lagripora Ashmuqam for condolence where from his wife along with the child went missing. On this information, a missing report was lodged and investigation was set into motion. Ashmuqam police headed by SHO Ashmuqam searched at various places to trace out the missing duo. After strenuous efforts, the missing lady and her child were traced out from Kokernag area of the Anantnag district within three hours. After completion of legal formalities, the lady and her child were handed over to their legal heirs.(KNO)
