Handwara police felicitates Budokan Champions | KNO

Srinagar, November 30 (KNO) : Handwara police has organized an encouragement function for the winners of Budokan Championship of Bangalore at District Police Lines Handwara. Handwara police has facilitated two winners of 35th National Bodokan championship which was held at Bangalore recently at DPL Handwara. Mehreen Altaf Banday has won the gold medal while as Yamin Fayaz Sofi, of Handwara has won the silver medal. A large gathering including the Budokan players, their parents and civil society members of Handwara witnessed the event. SSP Handwara Shri Ghulam Jeelani Wani while speaking on the occasion congratulated and appreciated both the winners. Trophies were also distributed to these winners by Handwara police. SDPO Handwara Shri Shabir Khan, DySP DAR Handwara Shri Farooq Wani, DySP Handwara Shri Munish Sharma, DySP Kralgund Shri Tariq Mehmood and other senior police officers were present on the occasion (KNO)
