JAMMU, NOVEMBER 30 (KNO) : J&K Police is organizing Inter Battalion Sports Meet-2017 from 2nd December 2017 to 7th December 2017 at Gulshan Ground Jammu. Opening Ceremony will be held on 2nd Dec. 2017 at 1100 hrs at the venue and closing ceremony shall be held on 7th of Dec 2017. This was disclosed by IGP Armed Shri S.A. Watali while briefing the media persons at a press conference at PHQ lawns here today, in which DIG AP and all COs were present. While speaking on the occasion, IGP Armed said that outstanding players (Men/Women) amongst all Armed/IRP Battalion personnel are going to compete in this tournament/meet. NGO’s and other participants will compete in Basketball, Volleyball, Tug of War, Boxing, Judo, Wushu, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Football, Handball, Kabadi, Hockey, Shooting, Judo, Athletic, while GO’s will compete in Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis and Shooting. The games/events shall be played at Gulshan Ground, University ground, DPL Jammu, Hakku Stadium, Gym Complex PHQ/CTC Sunjwan and Indoor Hall GOs Mess. Games/events shall be conducted on knock out basis as per rules/regulations laid down by All India Police Sports Control Board in accordance with respective rules and regulations of Indian Sports Associations/Federations (KNO)
