Muslims take out procession on eve of Eid-Milad in Chenab Valley | KNO

BHADERWAH,DEC 01 (KNO) : On the eve of “Eid-Milad-Ul-Nabi” which is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) , a religious procession was taken out at Bhaderwah sub district here today like other parts of the Chenab valley Doda , Batote , Banihal , Kishtwar and other places . The religious procession in Bhaderwah started from Markazi Jamia Masjid which passed through the Main markets and culminated again at Jamia Masjid where flag hosting ceremony of Islamic flag was also held.The people of Muslim community who participated in this procession also shouted slogans to highlight the life history of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and also spread the message of peace, brotherhood and unity amongst whole of the caste, creed and colour. The Muslims who participated in this religious rally said its purpose was to spread the message of communal harmony and secularism.Speaking on the occasion President Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah Perviaz Sheikh urged upon the Muslim Community to be united and help all needy people on this occasion and also threw light on the importance of the day . He said that these holy occasions provide us spiritual opportunity to convey to the world that Islam is religion of love ,peace, unity .He said that throughout the world forces inimical to our love & unity have painted Islam in most negative manner. He said that our Great Prophet Hazoor Rasool-e- Akram SAW were symbol of Love & universal patron of humanity & we all have to convey to the world that we believe in the pure path shown to us by our Great prophet as well as Great Awaliya karams .Master Gulam Rasool Rangraz ,Dr Tariq Tak , Imam Zubair Alam , Raiz Ahmed Najar , Mohd Shafi Rafeqi , Zubair Wani ,Abdul Kabir Malik , and others were also present on the occasion . Bhaderwah police made foolproof security arrangements on this occasion.(KNO)
