Mehbooba announces grant of Rs. 10 lacs for their welfare

JAMMU, DECEMBER 08 (KNO) : A group of specially abled students called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today. The students were part of various sporting events being organised these days by J&K State Sports Council. These children have participated in various events like mountain expedition and trekking under the auspices of the Council. The Chief Minister expressed happiness on meeting these children and accepted their request to spend some time with them at their schools. She announced a grant of Rs. 10 lacs for upgrading facilities for these children adding that whatever required would be done by her Government for their welfare. The Chief Minister also distributed prizes among these students on the occasion. Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Waheed ur Rehman Parra and other officials were present on the occasion.(KNO)
