Sopore December 09 (KNO) : National Lok Adalat held at Additional and Session Judge Court Complex Sopore in northern part of Kashmir on Saturday. As many as 100 more cases of various nature were taken up, out of which various cases were settled amicably during the Lok Adalat During the lok adalat, cases pertaining to Negotiable Instrument Act under section 138, Bank recovery cases, Labour disputes, Electricity & Water Bills (excluding non-compoundable), MACT, Land acquisition cases, Revenue cases, Criminal Compoundable cases, Matrimonial, Rent, Easementary rights, Injunction & specific performance suits and cases of pre-litigation were taken up for their amicable settlement. The Lok Adalat at Additional and Session Judge Court Complex Sopore was held under the Chairmanship of Additional Session Judge of Chief Judicial Magistrate Sopore Masrat Roohi , ADC Sopore Khursheed Ahmed Shah and lawyers were present on the occasion.(KNO)
