'Lashkar OGW' arrested in Handwara | KNO

An alleged over ground worker (OGW) of Lashkar-e-Toiba has been arrested by government forces in Handwara area of Kupwara district, official sources said today. Sources told that acting on a specific input, the police, army's 30RR and 92 CRPF in a joint operation arrested one over ground worker of LeT. The sources identified the OGW as Riyaz Ahmed Khan alias Bita khan alias Baba, son of Abdul Rashid Khan. He was arrested from his home at Hajin in Handwara. "Security forces also destroyed one hide in his house and recovered 1 AK56 rifle, 2 magzines, 25 rounds of AK56, one spare butt, one wirecutter from the hideout," they said. Meanwhile sources said that three more persons have been arrested by forces in Handwara.
