Srinagar Dec 12 (KNO) : The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today congratulated Rahul Gandhi on his Election as President of Indian National Congress saying that his elevation will boost the morale of rank and file of the Party across the Country. Senior Congress Leaders in a statement issued today expressed great satisfaction over the election of Rahul Gandhi as New President of the Indian National Congress and described it as timely, need of the time saying that the elevation of Rahul Gandhi as President will boost the moral of the party Cadres and people in the entire country, for the fact, Rahul Gandhi is an incomparable leader committed to the Nation and the organization. They said his dedication and hard work will certainly make the Congress Party as strongest force in the Country taking the prestige of the country to new heights in every respect. Congress leaders described Rahul Gandhi as a man of principles committed to empower people from grass roots level, people of the Country foresee their better future in Rahul Gandhi and want to him lead them from front. Congress Party has the legacy of safeguarding democracy, besides strengthening democratic institutions in the country, the election of Rahul Gandhi will work as an inspiration and lesson for all political organizations existing in the Country, they added.
