Air traffic was restored at Srinagar International Airport after remaining affected due to poor visibility and snow since early Tuesday morning.
The runway has been cleared of snow and visibility has improved at the airport, an official of the airport told UNI.
However, the first flight which left New Delhi had to wait for about half an hour in the mid-air as visibility suddenly dropped at the airport. The flight has now landed after the visibility again improved, he said adding two more flights also landed safely.
In reply to a question he said so far no message was received from any airlines about the cancellation of any flight from Delhi or Jammu. The other flights would also operate provided there is no weather disturbance again.
However, the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, the only road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country remained closed since Monday due to snow and landslides (UNI)
