Tral observes shut on third consecutive day against Trali's killing | KNO

A complete shutdown was observed on Thursday for the third consecutive day in Tral and Aripal areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killing of Jaish-e-Mohammad commander, Noor Mohammed Tantray. All shops, business establishments, government and private offices remain closed in these areas while public transport was off the roads. Top Jaish Commander Noor Mohammed Tantray aka Noor Trali was killed in an encounter with government forces in Samboora village of Pulwama district on Tuesday. The police termed the killing of Trali as ‘significant breakthrough’ and accused him one of the chief architects of the BSF camp attack near Srinagar airport this year. Meanwhile on direction Zaffer Akbar Bhat party chairman, Salvation Movement leaders Mufti Mudasir, Adnan Salfi, Ishaq Ahmed, M Hanief visited tral and paid glowing tributes to martyred Noor Mohammad Tantry and express solidarity with them. On the occasion leaders said that given sacrifices will not go waste. (KNB)
