Rs 35.40 lakh sanctioned in favour of 22 militancy affected cases | KNO

In a major significant Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned Rs 35.40 lakh in favour of 22 militancy affected cases in this north Kashmir district. Six appointment cases were cleared as well while Rs 8.50 lakh were sanctioned in favour of one property damage case. He said Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Nassir Ahmad Naqash chaired a meeting of District Level Screening Cum-Coordination Committee (DLSCC), here yesterday. Of the 29 cases, 22 cases were cleared and others deferred for want of clarification and permission for re-examination. He said Rs 4 lakh each was sanctioned in eight cases against compensate employment. He said six appointment cases were cleared as well while Rs 8.50 lakh were sanctioned in favour of one property damage case. The eligibility including qualification of the applicants was also taken into account while deciding the appointments cases. Rs 3 lakh sanctioned among three death cases. Reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases. Meanwhile, re-verification and dependent certificates in some cases was sought during the meeting. (KNB)
