BHADERWAH,DEC 30 (KNO) : In pursuance of directions of Housing and Urban Development Department J&K, and on the instructions of Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu , Executive Officer Municipal Committee Bhaderwah Mohd Ashraf Zargar , in the presence of other sanitation staff of Health Wing distributed door to door dustbins to the households of ward no 01 and 02 here today . The dustbins were distributed in two colours i.e. Blue and Green. On this occasion Executive Officer MCB Mohd Ashraf Zargar appealed to people that these two dustbins in two different colours are being distributed, green bin for biodegradable, wet waste and blue bin for non-biodegradable, dry waste. The sanitation wing of MCB which included Sukesh Sharma , Arshad Kagazgar , Sunil Kumar , Mohd Sajid Malik , Wasim Ganai , Mehraj Din , Fareed Ahmed and other also appealed all people that the segregation is compulsory under guidelines of SBM so it is responsibility of every citizen to segregate waste at source. This will also reduce quantity of garbage being lifted and dumped by the Committee at dumping sites.(KNO)
