Pulwama Update : 2nd day, 'Forces Resume Operation' | KNO

With the first light Monday morning government forces resumed operation in Lethpora area of South Kashmir, where five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed and three others were injured in a fidayeen attack by militants on their camp in the wee hours of Sunday. Two local militants were also killed in the encounter while one or two are still hiding in one of the building in the camp, official sources told Kashmir Reader. They said the operation was stopped late last night though forces remained deployed in the entire area to foil any attempt by militants to escape.
