Police arrests four gamblers in Ganderbal | KNO

Srinagar, January 01 (KNO) : Safapora police station raided a gambling site at Safapora and arrested four gamblers namely Javaid Ahmad Shah son of Abdul Ahad Shah resident of Seer Hamdan Anantnag presently residing at Gratabal Safapora, Nisar Ahmad Kutchay son of Abdul Ahad Kutchay resident of Safapora, Abdul Qayoom Shah son of Ghulam Mohammad Shah resident of Gratabal Safapora and Mohammad Shafi Sofi son of Noor ud Din Sofi resident of Gratabal Safapora. Stake money of rupees 24500/= and gambling cards were seized from their possession. In this regard case F.I.R. No. 43/2017 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up.(KNO)
