Taunting the government for continuously detaining the resistance leadership in Kashmir, Communist lawmaker, M Y Tarigami, on Wednesday said that the draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) was slapped on him twice. Raising the concern of overuse of PSA in Kashmir, Tarigami told the house that he has not seen Masarat Alam for long. “I have come to know that he has been awarded degree of PSAs,” he taunted the government. Hurriyat Conference (G) leader and Muslim League chief, Masarat is under PSA detention for 36th time and has been lodged in Kot Bhalwal jail Jammu. He was arrested in 2010 and since then barring only 40 days he has been behind bars all the years. “Geelani sahab… Mirwaiz sahab are being continuously being held under the pretention of nazar bandi,” he said, “ab tak aap inki nazar ko band hi rakho gay?”(KR)
