IGP AP/IRP visits Armed Police Complex Parihaspora | KNO

Interactive meet cum darbar conducted J&K Bank Officials highlighted importance of MOU

Srinagar, January 10 (KNO) : An interaction cum awareness meet on Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between J&K Bank and J&K Police was organized by IRP 20th at Armed Police Complex Parihaspora. Inspector General of Police AP/IRP Kashmir Shri Ahfadul Mujtaba who was the chief guest on the occasion also holds a darbar with the officers and jawans. The function was attended by the officers an jawans of IRP 3rd, 9th and 20th battalions. The workshop was conducted with the aim to aware the police personnel with the new schemes and services being introduced by J&K Bank for J&K police. The function was addressed by IGP AP/IRP Shri Ahfadul Mujtaba. CO IRP 20th Bn Shri Baqar Samoon in his welcome speech gave an idea about the Memorandum of Understanding to the police personnel. J&K Bank officials highlighted the importance and benefits of the MOU which was signed by Director General of Police Dr S.P Vaid and Chairman J&K Bank Shri Parvez Ahmad. The bank officials apprised the officers and officials that by virtue of this MOU, the bank will provide preferential banking services and benefits to the J & K Police Personnel. IGP AP/IRP Kashmir distributed credit cards of J&K Bank among the officers/officials of these three battalions during the interactive meet. A darbar was also held by the IGP AP/IRP Shri Ahfadul Mujtaba with the officers/officials and headed a prayer meeting in favor of the officer and jawans who achieved martyrdom at Sopore. Shri Ahfadul Mujtaba briefed the police personnel to remain extra alert and cautious during their duties and also lend a helping hand to the common people. Besides, IGP AP/IRP Shri Ahfadul Mujtaba approved the place for construction of ATM at APC Parihaspora for the facility of the officers/jawans and general public of the area. (KNO)
