02 drug peddlers arrested in Budgam | KNO

Srinagar, January 10 (KNO) : Budgam police has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 2.5 kilograms of charas from their possession. A police party of Police Post Narbal intercepted a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK03C-5525 driven by Siyar Ahmad son of Abdul Razak Reshi resident of Wachi Shopian during routine naka checking at Checki Kawoosa crossing. During the search of the vehicle two bags containing 2.5 kilograms of charas was recovered. The driver and his associate Javeed Ahmad Ganie son of Gul Mohammad resident of Malhoora Shopian was arrested and the vehicle was seized on the spot. A case FIR number 09/2018 under section 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Magam. (KNO)
