JAMMU & KASHMIR Teachers exempted from election duties | KNO Published 329 weeks ago on January 11, 2018 By KashmirNewsObserver In what came as a relief for school teachers in Jammu and Kashmir, an order has been issued exempting teachers from rendering services during the elections. According to an order issued by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed Khan, dated 10-01-2017, all the Deputy Commissioners ( District Election Officers) have been ordered not engage any official (Teacher, Lecturer) from the Education Department for Election Duties. The decision as per the order has been taken to ensure imparting of hassle free education to the students and to save the precious time of the student community.
