Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Friday said that the police, on orders of the puppet government, placed party chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, under house arrest.
According to DeM press secretary, Sofi Fehmeeda, a large contingent of police surrounded the residence of Andrabi Sahiba at around 8 PM on the Friday evening and placed her under house detention.
Condemning this arbitrary house detention of DeM chairperson as frustration on part of the puppet government, Fehmeeda said that this has become a routine since the release of Andrabi Sahiba from jail. “ This is absolute barbarity and harassment as these goons in uniform come at any time and place the party chairperson under house arrest,” she said.
Fehmeeda said that such acts, however, won’t deter the party chairperson or the cadres of DeM from pursuing the struggle for freedom from illegal occupation. (KNO)
