Bhaderwah Campus of JU celebrate Lohri with traditional zeal | KNO

BHADERWAH,JAN 13 (KNO) : Bhaderwah Campus of Jammu University organized a function to celebrate Lohri in which students and staff members participated.On the occasion, the bonfire was lit by the Rector Bhadewrah campus Prof G M Bhat and the teachers with the motive that they will take initiatives for spreading love and peace.The folk festival was also celebrated by offering groundnuts and sweets as a thanks giving to the almighty on conclusion of harvesting of crops and onset of spring season.Speaking on the occasion, Rector Bhaderwah campus Prof G M Bhat expressed satisfaction and happiness over preserving age old cultural heritage and spirit of tolerance with one and all by celebrating the Festival jointly with the students and staff of all faiths in Bhaderwah campus .A colorful cultural bonanza was organized by the students of the campus .(KNO)
